Overview
I have been working on this story for many years. As my style has developed, so has the story and illustrations. This is a personal story about handling grief and the loss of a grandparent.

What starts out to be an ordinary trip to the park for two young sisters and their grandmother quickly turns into so much more, when a game of hide and seek leaves the big sister lost and alone. She must very quickly grow up and use her cunning to navigate a dark and scary world to reconnect with her loved ones and find her way out of the deep abyss. A journey of love, loss and learning to overcome obstacles and exit the darkness.
